Michelle Carew Classic

The Michelle Carew Classic is one of the premier softball tournaments in California.  The tournament began as the Canyon Tournament of Champions is the mid 1980’s.  Following the passing of Michelle Carew to a rare form of leukemia in 1997, the tournament was renamed in her memory. Carew, daughther of MLB Hall of Famer, Rod Carew, played her high school softball at Canyon.  This tournament consistently features Top 10 teams from around the United States and highlights some of the top talent in high school softball.
